The PLS-SS101 sensor accurately determines fuel levels by detecting the varying refractive indices of air and fuel liquids:

🌫️ No-Fuel State (Probe in Air): Total internal reflection occurs within the precision probe. The built-in receiver captures the light and outputs a fixed electrical signal.

💧 Fuel State (Probe Immersed): A change in the external refractive index causes the light to refract out of the probe. The receiver detects the loss of the light signal, triggering a state switch.
