Working Principle

 

The FH-507 ultrasonic meters natural gas operates based on the gas ultrasonic transit-time difference principle, complying with international AGA #9 and GB/T18604 industry standards. A pair of ultrasonic transducers are installed on the outer wall of the natural gas pipeline, alternately transmitting and receiving ultrasonic signals that penetrate the gas medium. When natural gas is static, the upstream and downstream signal propagation time is equal. When gas flows, the ultrasonic signal traveling with the gas flow has a shorter transit time, while the counter-flow signal takes longer. The built-in high-speed microprocessor accurately calculates gas flow velocity and instantaneous flow by capturing the precise time difference, and accumulates total gas consumption. Combined with temperature and pressure compensation algorithms, it realizes accurate and stable natural gas flow measurement for HVAC and heating systems.

Finally, power on the host, set parameters such as pipe diameter, pipe material and gas medium, and the meter can complete debugging and start real-time measurement within 5 minutes.
