Environmental Conditions
Liquid level sensors should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated environment, away from high humidity, high temperatures, or direct sunlight. Generally, a storage temperature range of -20°C to 60°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 80% are recommended to prevent moisture damage to electronic components or corrosion of the housing. In environments containing volatile liquids, the sensors should be kept away from corrosive gases to avoid damaging the sensing elements or sealing structures.

 

Physical Protection
During storage, liquid level sensors should be placed on stable, vibration-free shelves or within packaging boxes to prevent impacts, crushing, or accidental drops. Sensitive components-such as probes, floats, or ultrasonic transducers-should be fitted with protective covers or foam padding to prevent mechanical damage. For long-term storage, it is best to keep the sensors sealed within their original packaging to prevent the ingress of dust or foreign objects.

 

Electrical Protection
During storage, the power supply should be disconnected to prevent damage to electronic components caused by static electricity, moisture, or stray currents. Dust caps may be fitted to digital interfaces or output ports to prevent oxidation or short circuits. For liquid level sensors that have been out of service for an extended period, it is recommended to periodically inspect their physical condition and protective structures to ensure reliable performance upon reactivation.
