During the use and maintenance of liquid level sensors, safety precautions must be observed to ensure proper equipment operation and prevent personal injury or accidents. During installation, the power supply must be disconnected; operations should strictly adhere to the instructions in the user manual to avoid miswiring power or signal lines, which could result in electric shock or equipment damage. The installation site should be situated away from high-temperature, high-pressure, or highly corrosive environments; additionally, ensure the sensor is securely mounted to prevent hazards caused by liquid spills or the sensor falling.

 

During operation, verify that the supply voltage and signal output conform to the sensor's design specifications to prevent equipment damage caused by overvoltage or short circuits. Operators must avoid direct contact with live electrical components or high-temperature liquids; particularly in chemical or corrosive liquid environments, protective gloves and safety goggles should be worn to prevent injury caused by liquid splashes to the eyes or skin contact.

 

Regularly inspect the sensor and its connecting cables for integrity, and clean off any scale buildup or sediment to ensure the sensing element's surface remains clean, thereby maintaining measurement accuracy and response speed. Sensors that are to remain out of service for an extended period should be powered off and stored in a manner that protects them from moisture or mechanical damage. Furthermore, all repair or replacement procedures should be performed by personnel possessing specialized technical expertise to ensure safe and reliable operation.
